Abstract

Organizations attach importance to human and human resources in order to maintain their presence, increase their efficiency and gain a competitive advantage. With this importance, human resource management, a human oriented approach, has emerged. It is seen that this importance given to human beings has increased especially in globalization and the digital age. The reason for this is changes due to technological innovations. In this context, the aim of the current research is to determine the concepts and activities that are expected to stand out for the future of HRM. In addition, its though that the study fills the gap in Turkish literature, due to the fact that it is aimed at the future, the sample group chosen is diverse and is performed depending on the Delphi Technique. The sample of the study consists of 82 participants in total, including Human Resources professionals, academicians, top managers, undergraduate students and graduate students. The questionnaire method based on the Delphi technique was used as the data collection tool. The SPSS 21 package program was used to analyze the data obtained as the results of the surveys applied to the participants in the form of two rounds. As a result of the research, the results show that HRM will become the strategic partner of the organization, take part in the top management, transform into intellectual capital, increase employee participation, transform into the service sector, transition to new working models and be in the digital age.
