International Congress of Recycling Economy & Sustainability Policy-II was organized on October 17-18

Aiming to be an international bridge on recycling economy and sustainability policy, the "International Congress of Recycling Economy & Sustainability Policy-II and Al Farabi 13th International Scientific Research and Innovation Congress" was held on 17th and 18th of October, hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University.

The Congress began with speeches by the Chairman of the Honorary Organising Committee and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of our University, Prof. Dr. Rasim YILMAZ and the President of the Congress, Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Durmuş Çağrı YILDIRIM.

The Congress featured presentations by international keynote speakers and national and international participants who are experts in their fields. Bringing together academics, experts and business representatives from around the world, the congress aimed to increase interdisciplinary cooperation and innovation by sharing knowledge and experiences on topics such as circular economy models, strengthening environmental policies and efficient use of resources.

The two-day event offered a wide range of discussions, from new technologies in the recycling sector to sustainable business models and new strategies to guide policy makers.

Commenting on the event, Congress President Prof Dr Durmuş Çağrı YILDIRIM said, "We hope that our Congress will be beneficial to all participants and to the scientific community".

Geri dönüşüm ekonomisi ve sürdürülebilirlik politikaları üzerine uluslararası bir köprü olmayı hedefleyen “International Congress of Recycling Economy & Sustainability Policy-II ve Al Farabi 13th International Scientific Research And Innovation Congress”, 17-18 Ekim 2024 tarihlerinde Tekirdağ Namık Kemal Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi ev sahipliğinde düzenlendi.

Kongre, Onursal Organizasyon Komitesi Başkanı Üniversitemiz İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi Dekanı Prof. Dr. Rasim YILMAZ ve Kongre Başkanı İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi öğretim Üyesi Prof. Dr. Durmuş Çağrı YILDIRIM'ın konuşmaları ile başladı.

Kongrede, uluslararası nitelikte ana konuşmacıların ve konusunda uzman ulusal ve uluslararası katılımcıların sunumları yer aldı. Dünyanın dört bir yanından akademisyenler, uzmanlar ve iş dünyası temsilcilerini bir araya getiren kongrede döngüsel ekonomi modelleri, çevresel politikaların güçlendirilmesi ve kaynakların etkin kullanımı gibi konularda bilgi ve deneyimin paylaşılarak, disiplinler arası iş birliği ve inovasyonun artırılması hedeflendi.

İki günlük etkinlik, geri dönüşüm sektöründeki yeni teknolojilerden sürdürülebilir iş modellerine, politika yapıcılar için kılavuz olacak yeni stratejilere kadar geniş bir yelpazede tartışma fırsatları sundu.

Kongre Başkanı Prof. Dr. Durmuş Çağrı YILDIRIM, konu ile ilgili olarak “Kongremizin tüm katılımcılara ve bilime faydalı olmasını dileriz” dedi.
